Our popular Spring Cleanup Program is Back!
Watching your landscape come back to life after another Colorado winter is an enduring rite of spring. Outdoor furniture comes out of winter storage, pots stand at the ready to receive spring annuals, and the gardening season's biggest, and most important task - spring cleanup - begins.
As days lengthen and light increases, plants resume active growth. Tending to the clearing away of debris, applying a layer of fresh mulch, cutting back perennials to give them air and light and applying a light fertilizer so they get a strong start on the season is in order.
Early spring is also the time to "prune after bloom": shape and trim most shrubs and bushes, take a good look at the health of trees, check whether the irrigation system survived the below-freezing temps, and prepare the entire yard for the active growing season ahead.
Landscape Connection launched its Spring Cleaning Program
years ago in response to numerous requests from customers wanting
help with the time-consuming (and muscle-taxing) spring cleanup
chore.
The program includes everything from aerating and fertilizing your lawn to amending and prepping your annual and perennial beds to cleaning water features and inspecting and repairing your outdoor lighting systems. Detailed information on the program can be found at http://www.landscapeconnection.net/finishing_touches.php.
