The following are some things to consider when planning your Denver Landscape project.

Who will be using your front or backyard?

How will your yard be used? Is it by you, children, pets or is it a common area for entertainment? From these decisions you can design each area of your yard for a specific audience.

Factor in our Colorado weather when planning your landscape

It’s important to know what to plant, where to plant, and how to utilize it to fit best with our Denver Metro climate.

What’s the purpose of your backyard?

What will the people using your yard be using it for? Is it a playground, outdoor cooking area, or a place you can relax and read. Finding the purpose for your backyard helps layout the landscape design.

Take stock of what’s already in your yard.

Shade and sun exposures are important to identify. Select plants and materials that will survive in these areas.

Details. . .

Different textures, plants and vegetables as well as different colors, landscape lighting and scents are just a few of the things to consider when it comes to your landscape design.

What landscaping do you already have?

Work with what you’ve got if you can. Utilize your surrounding yard and area and expand on it with new landscape design. From plants to walkways, look at what you’ve got and decide if you can use it.
